Tried to remove using Add/Remove Programs - i was unlucky. SpyFalcon was popping up and scanning my computer again and again, offering to buy it's software. Fixing the problem with hijackthis did not help either: After hijackthis scan found this line: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SpyFalcon] C:\Program files\SpyFalcon\SpyFalcon.exe /h

FYI, I wanted to let you know that I'd downloaded Spy Doctor and run it twice without it removing Spy Falcon (as it claimed). I've written and demanded my money back from that company. I updated my Norton Antivirus, which was an ordeal in and of itself. It took a day before it confirmed my payment, and then hours to download and install. It kept coming up with a pop-up that said my computer was threatened and that it would fix it immediately, but all it did was launch a full system scan and, after running for an hour, still hadn't detected any problems. I found your site via Google. The instructions were clear and helpful, especially since I really am not any sort of a computer wizard. Yours was the only set of directions that helped me rid the computer of Spy Falcon. I hope you publish this to the whole freakin' Internet world because Spy Doctor and Norton Antivirus are not going to be of any help. Well, maybe the Norton Antivirus would have caught it eventually, but I really didn't feel like waiting another 24 hours before it finally resolved the problem. In Windows XP I had to log in as an Administrator in Safe mode in order to delete the dxmpp.dll file. When I logged in as usual, that stupid little pop-up kept running, so I kept getting the message that dxmpp.dll couldn't be deleted because it was in use. When I logged in as the administrator I didn't have that problem at all. Just as there is -- I hope and pray -- a special circle of Hell just for people who create computer viruses and spyware and all sorts of other nasty stuff to invade our systems and steal our info, I'm sure there is a special place in Heaven just for people like you who post FREE instructions on how to get rid of the offending code. God bless you. Judith, Omaha, Nebraska
Sir, You information was outstanding! I did not have a spyware program and the SpyFalcon took over my computer. I downloaded Spyware Doctor and it didn't touch the SpyFalcon. I followed the instructions from your site and its was gone. The instructions are not for the computer weak though because I could not access the programs that I downloaded to my desktop when in safemode. I just searched for the files and went that route. Not a complaint just a comment. Thank you for the GREAT information!!!!!! Keith
I have been searching for a way to remove Spy Falcon for about a month now and, for some odd reason, never came across your web site. Today I decided to do a Google search for "remove SpyFalcon" and there you were. It took me a couple of tries (because I messed up the first time by not downloading spyfalcon.reg to my desktop) but after about 20 minutes everything was gone including a couple of link shortcuts that had been on my desktop. All the other methods I tried (hijack this, spy bot s&d, etc) didn't even touch it. I would like to donate to your website if that's possible. It was certainly worth the peace of mind. Now I can let other people use my computer without worrying about what kind of ads are going to pop up on the screen. Please let me know where I can send a donation and keep up the awesome work. Sincerely, Shannon
A while ago i had this Spyfalcon thing on my machine. Spyware Doctor did it's job and removed it for me. Now i'm infected with a new rogue program called PC Antispyware 2010. Just wanted to let you all know that Spyware Doctor removed it successfully for the second time. Cheers!
